Born in Tiraspol, Trans-Dniester region, Former USSR. Admitted to New York Bar 2007.

EDUCATION: Notre Dame Law School (LL.M. International Human Rights Law 2006, magna cum laude); Central European University, Budapest, Hungary (Open Society Justice Initiative Fellow 2004); European Humanities University, Minsk Belarus (LL.B. International Law 2002, summa cum laude).

PROFESSIONAL: Member of the New York Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Ms. Krivtsun joined Davidson & Schiller in 2006 after completing her LL.M degree at Center for Civil and Human Rights at the Notre Dame Law School. Prior to that, Ms. Krivtsun studied International Human Rights Law at Central European University as an Open Society Justice Initiative Fellow. Ms. Krivtsun also holds a LL.B in International Public Law. In addition to her educational achievements Ms. Krivtsun has a vast experience working with immigrants and asylum seekers. For two years Ms. Krivtsun worked as an asylum attorney with the UNHCR Refugee Counseling project in Minsk, Belarus where she offered free legal counseling to refugee clients. Her duties included providing asylum seekers with legal advice on the effective legislation; conducting asylum interviews; appeals; providing legal assistance in cases of police harassment and detention of asylum seekers. Ms. Krivtsun also completed two legal internships with UNHCR Liaison Office in Minsk, Belarus (2002) and International Rescue Committee in London, UK (2004).

At Davidson & Schiller, Ms. Krivtsun specializes in employment-based immigration, asylum, federal litigation and family immigration. She is fluent in Russian.
