Chair of the Chicago Bar Association Committee on Immigration
and Nationality Law; Current Co-Chair of the Leadership Council
of the Chicago-based Midwest Immigrant and Human Rights
Center; Member of Illinois State Bar Association International and Immigration Law Section Council. Mr. Schiller was one of ten attorneys in the
Chicago area selected for a Pro Bono Leadership Award
by the Midwest Immigrant & Human Rights Center and
the American Bar Association.
Mr. Schiller has appeared as a speaker at educational
and professional seminars addressing issues in U.S.
immigration and nationality law, including the annual
conference of the American Immigration Lawyers Association;
and NAFSA, Association of International Educators. Mr.
Schiller represents many corporations, universities,
professionals (including scientists, researchers and
professors) and other individuals in matters before
the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
Mr. Schiller also serves as an Adjunct Lecturer in the
undergraduate program at Northwestern University, teaching
a course on the subject of
international human rights and U.S. refugee law.
